Parting thoughts: Franklin D. Roosevelt once said, "Let us never forget that government is ourselves and not an alien power over us." More so now than ever is this true of our democratic processes - our LEC is no different. This LEC will be responsible for representing our Local's concerns, ambitions, etc. throughout the next two years, including overseeing our next Collective Agreement. Something to keep in mind during our upcoming LEC!
